Providing the necessary training and drawing on the expertise of the safety specialists we employ, MPM is able to protect employees and adhere to strict Australian Occupational Health & Safety standards. Here at MPM we believe that every worker has a right to healthy and safe work and to a work environment. To ensure this we conduct regular reviews, audits and site risk assessments, as well as developing detailed leadership and accountability models.

Training is an important and vital part of the MPM process to achieve the upmost safety and health of workers. MPM runs various training programs in order to ensure performance management and development as well as design expert, personalised learning to suit employee and organisational needs.

What should I do if I have had a workplace injury?

Injury Reporting Procedures

If you are injured while on a host employer site, notify both your direct Supervisor and MPM Recruitment immediately, even if medical assistance is not required. Workers compensation may not be recovered if you have left the host employer site after an injury has occurred and you have not notified MPM Recruitment.

  • Obtain a WorkCover certificate if you visit a doctor. This doctor will your Nominated Treating Doctor.
  • Complete a Workers Compensation claim form, available from MPM Recruitment.
  • Advise MPM Recruitment when you will be available for selected duties or a normal return to work.
  • Attend any medical examination arranged by the insurance company or MPM Recruitment.
  • Co-operate with any rehabilitation program designed for you.
  • In the event you are injured and will be off work for more than a week, MPM Recruitment will liaise with you to ensure appropriate treatment, investigate the accident and assist with rehabilitation.
